Mohammad Abdul Awal, the new Deputy Commissioner of Naogaon said, ‘I want to work with honesty and devotion. I will do my best to ensure that people do not suffer any kind of harassment when they come to seek services and get the desired services.’
He said, ‘I will talk to the relevant ministry for the development of road communication system. Tourism industry will not develop without development of communication system. Health service quality, prevention of corruption will be discussed in the concerned department. We want to work together on the issues.’
He said these words while speaking as the chief guest at an exchange meeting with print, electronic and online media journalists working in the district organized in his office room on Sunday (September 15) afternoon.
The Deputy Commissioner, who has just joined Naogaon, said to the reporters, ‘Make logical criticism. There will be criticism at work. But it must be logical. Just as praise motivates us, so can we learn from criticism. But it must be logical. Let me know if there is any mistake on my way, so that I can work properly.’
At this time, he requested the cooperation of journalists for the overall development of Naogaon.
In the meeting, the journalists spoke highlighting the existing problems and possibilities of Naogaon. They pointed out various potentials of Naogaon, including paddy, mango, tourism, and drew the attention of the District Commissioner to solve the problems of road communication, education, health services etc.
