Mohadevpur Dorpan, Mahbubuzzaman setu, Staff reporter, Manda ( Naogaon), 14 September 2024 : 

Naise Parveen (28), a housewife, has been accused of beating her husband to death due to a family dispute at Manda in Naogaon district.The incident took place in the village of Chauja Uttarpara of Tentulia Union of the upazila on Saturday (September 14) afternoon. Ekramul Haque is the son of Yad Ali of that village. 

The deceased’s father Kofil Uddin Molla said that his daughter married 11 years ago. They have one child. There were often family quarrels between them. As a result, Ekramul beat Nice to death. Neighbor Majer Ali said that the conflict between the husband and wife started due to the delay in cooking lunch. Ekramul beat his wife with it. At one point, Nice Parveen lost consciousness. She was rescued and died on the way to the hospital. 

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Manda Police Station Mozammel Haque Kazi said, the dead body of Nais Parveen was recovered from the spot and sent to the morgue. The process of the case is going on in this regard. Since the incident, husband Ekramul is absconding.
