Mohadevpur Dorpan, Quazi Sayeed Tito, Naogaon, 14 September 2024 : 

A meeting was held to establish unity against corruption, extortion and terrorism and exchange views with the families of the martyrs in Naogaon. 

On Saturday (September 14) at noon, the anti-discrimination student movement organized at Naogaon Sadar Upazila Parishad Auditorium. At that time, 11 people were killed and 23 injured in Naogaon district, district and upazila co-ordinators, students, guardians and civil society representatives were present. 

Mahin Sarkar, Central Co-ordinator of Anti-Discrimination Student Movement was present as the Chief Guest. 

Among others, members of the Rajshahi Divisional Student Citizen Friendship Movement, Kurratul Ain Kaniz, Saiful Islam, Iftekhar Alam and Lulul Makhmin, the mother of Sheikh Fahmin, who was killed in the anti-discrimination student movement, spoke. 

The chief guest said that corruption, extortion and terrorist activities are still going on in every aspect of the state. The anti-discrimination student movement has received information that a certain political group is carrying out extortion and terrorist activities in Naogaon district. If necessary again, students will unite and resist these terrorist extortionists.People will reject those political parties if they consider students as opponents.

Any political party has the right to participate in the program of anti-discrimination student movement. They can come and express their opinion peacefully. But we are being prevented from meeting the martyred and injured families in different districts of the country. The political parties who are doing these things, the people of this country will not think twice to throw them out.
